The Rockfeller Center is a stunning, recently renoved observation deck smack in the middle of the district of Manhattan in NYC.It was born in 1920 by John Davison Rockfeller,who made his fortune in the oïl industry to develop new economic activities.

He established the foundation"To promote the well-being of the humanity all over the world."

First of all after the stock market crach in 1929. The opera project was cancelled. But still on the 17th May 1930, 14 buildings designed by Raymon Hood and an architectural and engineering firm.On the 1st November 1939, John Davison inaugurated these buidings on the Rockfeller Plaza.

John Davison Rockfeller was born in a modest family in Richford in the United States of America. Decided to make a fortune, he forms in the business an launches into the oïl industry which begings to develop. Then, he creates "The Sandard Oil" in 1870. John Davison Rockfeller becomes the richest man in the world, at the beginning of XXcentry. At his death, John Davison Rockfeller Junior inherited the Rockfeller Center.

And finnely, to conclude, I already went to this place which I find beautiful and just like the Empire States Building or the Statue of Liberty, the Rockfeller Center is a symbol of New York wich the tourist must visit.
